FSD Navajo Repainting is difficult.....

Postby Skligmund » Fri Oct 22, 2004 2:09 am

Seriously, when I go to paint this thing, it's like I'm trying to read chinese.

So, since I have only ONE paint sceme that interests me, I decided to ask and see if anybody here would be willing...... I hate to ask, cause I bet you guys that do this get it all the time, but I've been after getting a SouthCentral Air Navajo on FS since 98, and now I finally have a good Navajo, but I can't paint it.

I've got pictures, and I would be most greatful if this could be done.

Thank you very much for your interest, I grew up on these, and I consider it a HUGE part of my life, but I am unable to recreate it, so I ask for help.

Thanks again.

Basicly I have no artistic capabilities, and from what I can tell, the textures don't follow any form of standardizations that I am familiar with. I am actually pretty good with technical drawings, but these template/texuture things are not linear I don't think.'

Believe me, after 4 hours of failing miserably, I decided to hand it off. I have painted a few aircraft in my years, but this one seems abnormally difficult.
