MS Paint

How can I repaint when using only[glb]M$ Paint[/glb]?? When I draw just a line and I saved it to a new texture-folder en make a new variation in the aircraft file, i'll see nothing changed in the aircraft?? Can somebody help my.

All right, there are a few things I think you aren't doing right.

1. The name of the texture MUST be the same as the name of the original texture.

2. Most default (and many downloadable) aircraft textures are saved in DXT3 format, which requires a seperate tool to open with.  DXT3 is what gives FS aircraft specular shine, with an alpha channel being included with the rest of the textures.  Try searching for a program called DXTBmp.  It will open the files and you can then save them as something else for editing.
