Update... Tried and Tested

Not a bad program overall, it's got some nice features, the GUI is cool, and there are a lot of options, but you can only with with BMP and TGA files. If you want to use Jpegs as photoreal textures, you first need to use a program like PIXresizer to convert them into bitmaps. The layout is slightly different to Pixia and PSP. You have floating Toolbars (Can move to any part of the screen). Alpha's are supported. On the Dogwaffle website, layers were mentioned, but I couldn't find a Layer Palette or anything relating to Layers. You can vary the opacity of your brush/ airbrush though

Edit: I think I'll stick with PSP and Pixia
