What is the font for U.S. N numbers?

Would anyone know the answer to the questions.  Some look like Arial, other Helvetica.  Another font I have seen used looks very blocky.  If anyone knows and/or has the font would you be able to let me know.

Amarillo - you can do a google search for "USN fonts" or such. ..  They're available - payware.

Click on Markings, then Fonts. Amarillo is the 6th one from the bottom :)

My take on this is 'Ariel' and 'Helvetica' are registered trademarks. 'Helvetica' is a registered trademark of Linotype-Hell AG and/or its subsidiaries.

the reg numbers on aircraft use a sans serif typeface
