Layers in PSP8

Postby FoolyCooly » Fri Jun 11, 2004 7:19 pm

Hello,
I'm pretty new to repainting but I have done some repaints without using layers. Now its starting to get on my nerves and I want to learn how to use layers.  I've been searching through my PSP and I can't find were you access the layers. I know there are tutorials out there that explain this but I can't find any good ones. Can anyone help me on this one?  ::)

I'm using PSP 7, so it may be a little different in PSP 8, but see if this helps out...

Hi there,

I just started using PSP 8 and still finding all the buttons. Open the layers palette by pressing the F8 key or by choosing  View>Palettes>Layers. The help menu gives good information on how to use Layers, but I found a book ( Paint Shop Pro Solutions by Lori J. Davis ) at Amazon that answers many questions about the program  in simple and effective terms.
