yeah i use photoshop i dont use very many effects in photoshop i just use the paintbrush and line tool to create anything i need.. a good way is to observe photos of the aircraft u are painting and try to draw on what you need... take a look at this photo..
http://funix.chez.tiscali.fr/aviation/i ... orsair.jpgyou will notice the paint coming off around the panel edges...this is a good effect for old fighter aircraft. also i would recomend dirtying it up a bit as the green is a bit clean and untouched for this sort of aircraft
im currently in the middle of a spitfire repaint derived from a previous repaint just sharpening it up an adding "oldness" to it check it out


notice the wing textures i havent started on yet but the fuselage is finished...this is the first part of a big project i am working on which will inlcude 30 repaints of real WW2 spitfires and full decriptions of each aircraft and its history. they will all be MKI / II spitfires as i think theyre the best.
need any help with the corsair gimme a shout
