I am very new to repainting and I have Paint Shop Pro8. Will the tutorial for 7 work for 8?

Not really, however 8 is much more user friendly, so read the 7 tutorial if you want and then get playing ;)

A good person to chat with is Fly2e (Dave) as he seems to be something of a PSP master ;) And I'm sure all the repainters will be glad to help out. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your handiwork ;)

Ozzy

PS. Check out Garry Smiths website, he is an Australian repainter and wrote an excellent set of tutorials for FS2k2 its at http://www.gjsmith.net/tutorials.htm
