Hi Steelx. My tute was intended for adding repaints to the default aircraft. It should give you the basic idea but repaints for 3rd party aircraft will be slightly different. They will usually be configured ready to install with a sample Aircraft.cfg entry in the Readme file. To install the repaint - paste the new texture folder into the aircraft it belongs with. This should already have the correct folder name - texture.volga_dnepr in the case of the An 124. Open Aircraft.cfg in Notepad & copy/paste the complete sample [fltsim.x] entry from the Readme below any existing ones. Make sure to change the number of the new [fltsim.x] entry to the next in sequence. For example: If the only variation of the aircraft is [fltsim.0] change the added entry to [fltsim.1]
This is already the case with the repaint you mention. Here's the sample entry from readme.txt.

I installed the An 124 aircraft & repaint to show you how it's done. This is how the an124 folder should look with the repaint added. The new folder name is texture.volga_dnepr

This is copied from my own modified Aircraft.cfg. The new [fltsim.1] entry is in bold type.
