Can anyone tell me if it is possible to repaint an aircraft and at the same time remowe drop tanks ?. I have problems to find where the drop tanks are when I look on the textures in DXT, is there an easy way to find around in the different items ? I also want to hear if somebody can tell me how to insert new text like decals ?
Drop tanks & external weapons on FS (as opposed to CFS2) aircraft are part of the visual model & coded into the MDL. It's not usually possible to remove or hide them, even by using transparent textures. The only way would be to contact the original author & ask if they would remove them for you.
