A380 Astro Airlines HELP with opening TEXTURES

I want to edit some textures but it won't open them in paint.net it says:
There was an unspecified error while opening the file.
Can someone help here? :-/

Sounds like you are trying to open an extended bitmap

If you read the many tutorials they explain this. ;)
