:o  I'd say you've got it.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I love all the little details on this model.  8-)

A stopping point for tonight....
Image

Colored the engines, added logo and name to both sides of the plane.

I know the fore and aft sections of the plane don't exactly match color wise yet...just a few easy mods that I didn't yet make after adding more to the paint. It's all just a few button clicks and opacity settings to adjust later.

TO DO:

Figure out that wing mapping....colorize the tip in red-orange up to that point where it sticks out on the leading edge.

Add 3 letter registration below horizontal stabilizer

Cheat line curves on nose.

Cheat line curves on tail.

Figure out where the engine spinner cap is and color that red orange.

Cheat line curves on nose.

Cheat line curves on tail.

My favorite method, and also how I did the blue Hawaiian :

Copy the parts of the photo that you're trying to do, and place it over the paint kit, reduce the visibility some so you can see through it, then trace the outline of the curves.

Tail is pretty much done! (With the exception of the registration, which will be my final addition)

Image

Left to do:

Nose

Wings

Prop spinner (once I find it)

Registration

Tweak the tail a bit....I need to either bring the orange down a little more....or the black up a bit. Also want to clear a little more off the tip of the orange curve. Other than that, that section is done.

Some alpha channel tweaking due to some coloration differences (in the white shades) due to the model itself between the fore and aft sections. (you can probably see the split near the lower portion of the aircraft, by the rear doors. The model split starts between those two big doors on the side.)

Besides the nose, the rest is easy. It may be done by the end of this week!

Looking very nice indeed!

If possible, I'd like to use this on the next MP flight.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Certainly. When I am done with it, I'll upload it to:

Simviation

Flightsim.com (maybe)
