Looking for Airliner Decal Sheets

Postby ShaneG_old » Fri Nov 14, 2008 7:11 am

I'm wanting to try my hand at doing some airliner repaints but I am having some difficulty in locating some resources. I am trying to find some .psd style decal sheets with various markings used on commercial jets.  I found some great military decal sheets at simmers paint shop, but nothing for civilian airlines. I've search through all 56 pages here (made for a long morning! :D) and found a few links but they are all dead now. :(
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I'm looking for the little decals that go around door handles, jet intake/exahuast, landing gear doors, no-step decals and the such. Just the little stuff.
Thanks for those links also! :) Hadn't run across those yet. :)

Ah i see. If youve found the military ones i think thats all you will need. If the paintkit is anywhere near decent, all these sort of things should be already there.

Or simply cut and paste from photographs, especialy the 'CUT HERE' (like a red box with only the corners in red, with emergency somthing or other stamped inside ) boxes often seen on airliners - they are so tiny on the paint you wont tell the difference! You can hand make them quite easy also. Youd be hard pressed to spot them on some photos, mind.

Brtish airways are a good one to look at for those, they often stand out.

Engine markings, no step and so on should really be in the paintkit!
