I have had a go at producing a jersey express liveried f27 but unfortunately I am unable to get the fuselage to take the colours so it remains grey but the tail and wings I can see the new paint scheme what have I done wrong???

You could have done several things wrong.
Did you:
Edit the correct file?
Save in the right format (24-bit *.bmp)?
Place the correct file in the texture folder?
If the answer to any of the above is a negative, go change that.

Sorted the problem with textures now seems I was editing the wrong texture folder in paint and then saving it under the wrong file name. I have now done several repaints and theres no stopping. Thanks for your help...
