Hi. You must have an old version of of DXTBmp. The current version will open & save in DDS format. This is the CFS3 & FSX native texture format.

No point in me doing it as I only have the FSX Demo. I don't understand the problem. The principle is exactly the same as for FS2004 except that the main textures are in DDS DXT5 format. DXTBmp can handle it.

If this is for an FS2004 aircraft save the textures in the original format. These will display in FSX.

PS. FS2004 default textures won't fit the FSX default aircraft.

I have edited them and saved them as DXT 5 like you said. and (above ) is whats showing, i just named the file texture.7 and  droped it in the boeing 737 file in FSX.

From what you're saying I assume these textures are for the FS2004 default b737_400. If that's correct they won't fit the FSX default B737-800 whichever format you save them in.

Have you tried browsing Simviation? http://www.simviation.com/fsxjets6.htm

PS.
i have jus checked and i am using the 737-800 textures

These are probably for an addon. FS2004 has no default 737-800.
