Repainting the DH-88

Postby gryshnak » Sun Jan 01, 2006 4:18 pm

Here's some advice for anyone else repainting the DH-88 for the next SimV race: KEEP THE WINGS SIMPLE.  Mine is just about finished now but it took waaay longer than expected, those chequerboards on the wing are made from 7 different panels and getting them all to line up together was a pain.  One or two primary colours would be a whole lot easier.

Don't know, the post seems to have vanished  ???

Anyway, you can get the DH-88 layout here:
http://www.metaphor.karoo.net/repaint88.html
It's only a .jpg so you can't use it directly, but it tells you where the various components are which saves a bit of time.
