Transparencies

Postby bernadic » Wed Sep 22, 2004 3:33 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a little explanation that how are transpencies for window glases made.
In FS2000 bmp files I made with BMP2000.exe
How is it done with extended DXT3 Format files?

Regards to all

In 2k2 or 2k4, most windows are just transparent polygons made by the modelling program that created them.  There is (usually) no way to modify them in the last two installments of FS.

At least not in most aircraft.  I have seen one or two that have a blank or bluish texture applied to them with some reflection . . .
