Blending the tail into the fuselage

Postby SteveC » Wed Feb 25, 2004 5:43 pm

Hi guys,

My first post here. I have FS2002, and have just started experimenting with repaints. In particular, I would like to do some repaints of the Australian Domestic carriers, including Qantas, Virgin Blue and the new Jetstar.

My problem is that Virgin Blue and Jetstar have designs that run from the tail, to the rear of the fuselage. In the template, the tail and the fuselage are seperate, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest an easy way of lining up the designs on each part of the template?

When you have opened up the file, count the number of pixels from the top of the aircraft's fuselage to the place where the text (or whatever) starts.  Just place them the same distance on the other part.
