A great entry on the design ladder, repainting can be rewarding & fun! Learn how here! (Not for repaint requests)

I finally got through painting my first plane using DXBMP and Corel Photo Shop with a full color pallette.
When looking at the plane in FS 2K Pro from the 'spot plane' view, I loose the front fuselage new paint to the old scheme when using the "L" key alone or in combo with "ctrl" or "shift".
I 'm trying here but what causes that? and is there a layman answer to it?

You don't say which aircraft but I suspect it uses night textures. Make sure any textures with a _L or _LM suffix are included in the texture folder with your repaint. These will also need repainting to make a proper job of it.

Thank you for the reply ... you are correct. it has both the _L and _LM textures in the file.
Again, thank you for your assistance.
For the record, I am attempting to repaint a DC-10 in a cargo configuation.
