Just thought I'd drop a line in to tell you all about the best - THE BEST plane I ever downloaded by a chap called Rick Piper. The aircraft is a BAC Hunting jet provost and there is a link to it from the downloads section.

Good going Rick

Rick is a brilliant modeller, have you tried his Chipmunk or Meteor trainer? Also FAB!

A lot of Ricks stuff is here, among the most popular downloads! If you want to see what I mean wait for it to appear then go and check the screenshot forum ;) If you can find a non-Rick plane on the front page you must have got there before people had finished downloading ;D
Now how to convince Rick to employ me as a beta-tester.... ;D

Patience Andrew, Rick is one of the few designers I think is worth waiting for. You know that delays only mean he is making it perfection and that your salivary gland is going to go into hyperdrive when it is finally released ;)
The question is who will get the first shots of it in the freeware screenie forum (probably Lemoncat), and how many pages will it fill in the screenie forums? ;D

Felix, you intimated that Rick Piper would be releasing something new to us presently.  Can I ask do you know anything more - like a release date? As I am sitting here trembling with anticipation waiting on his next release.

Naughty of me, wasn't it?

Rick works at his own pace.  I believe his current project is a collaboration, so release date is not under his control.  Of course, I may be wrong....

I believe that his next release is very closely related to one of his previous releases. From the development shots I've seen, I expect it will be the BAC Strikemaster, close relative of the Jet Provost...
