Ric - from my experience using the SR-71 - when I turned the GPS on, it crashed (and restarted) the FS2K2 program... does the SR-71a model actually come with the GPS add-on, or do I have to download the add-on separately? I've done the separate add-on, but it's rated for FS2K and FS98.. wouldn't know about the compatibility for 2K2. I would like to hear your suggestions on fixing this GPS glitch here.
One more thing... do NOT bother to use the IFR when flying in a SR-71 - I've tried doing it once... they "rudely" hung up on me after 10 minutes in flight... due to the lack of the plane's ability to "fast-turn" to change heading. >:( heh. Ah well, it was fun flying the rest of the way from LAX to PHL, passing so many airfields that I didn't know about or those I knew about but was surprised to be flying near it... Thanks for the excellent aircraft
