Stupid Idiot's Guide to Gmax

Postby hairyspin » Sat Feb 23, 2013 3:15 pm

Hi,

Hugh Shoult's Stupid Idiot's Guide to Gmax has been here on Simviation forever and a day, but isn't now, apparently. All links I've found come up with a 404 file not found.

Has this been dumped?

We're having a massive forum upgrade. Normal service will be resumed ASAP ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

It seems to have been lost in our server move or before. I've contacted Hugh to see if he still has a backup.

If so - watch this space. I would also love to see it back!!

I heard from Hugh last night. He's in great form and he's going to see if he can find his original files.

(He's also hoping to get back into FS once he's finished his stint in army college)

So please watch this space guys. :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

If all else fails, the tutorial could always be reassembled using archive.org. I just checked and they do have an archive of the guide in their database.

Good thinking!

The links from this index page seem to work. http://web.archive.org/web/20120814091139/http://www.simviation.com/gryphon/tutorials/gMax_00.htm

Also the link to the zipped tutorial.
