I downloaded the Antonov AN-24RV Russian Propliner - its a great Aircraft really,, like everything about it, and I swithched paint Schemes for what originally was with it.
 
But only the Aircraft TEXTURE File, paint livery.

Ever since I downloaded it, I keep getting a Chrome Instrument Panel, but, only with the lights on' !!

Turn the Lights OFF , and the instrument panel appears normal.

Also, the annoying RED BALL keeps appearing on the panel and won't go away

Anybody got a Pool Stick ?  I'd like to put er' in a side pocket for good !!

I believe the problem is within 1 or more of the Texture files, I'm goning to try switching formats of the Texture file, to maybe a different Type file, like a DXT BMP 888 File or one of those that the DXT Bit map Converter will convert, might have to try them all, till it goes away, only about 8 or 9 different variables to play with.

Anybody else have any suggestions ??  :-/ :-/

I run Windows 7 / 64 bit machine / FSX Gold Acceleration . 

Tho the aircraft is for 2004 version, it should still work like many of my other ones do !!

OK thats the 2-point-something version. Problem is a gauge background / placing issue that was solved in a patch that was not included in the original. And you are missing VC textures, as the VC that you use was added after the BFU repaint was made.

1: Put all extra textures in a safe place
2: Delete the folder in Aircraft
3: Get the 'version 2'and the update from http://an24.uw.hu/
4: Install v2.0, Install the update according to instructions
5: Put back extra textures
6: Copy everything missing from the main tezture folder to all extra textures
Optional extras
7: Get night texture package from avsim.ru and replace existing files

For completeness: there are multiple models that i know of that match the texture scheme, be sure to check which one is used
An-24RV with windows in the model
An-24B, has different engine gondola on one engine.
An-26, Cargo version, but most of the textures are the same
An-24 AI (there might be a windowless version of this one too, in both engine variants)
An-26 AI
An-24 with VC and windows
An-24RV without windows in the model
