Changing the landing gear drag in Aircraft.cfg

Postby snippyfsxer » Mon May 10, 2010 11:10 am

A plane I'm flying seems to exhibit just a tad too much drag once the main gear is lowered.  Is there an easy tweak in the Aircraft.cfg file to fine tune this?  I looked, but don't see anything that pops out.  How do I do this?

I suspect this is in the airfile. :-/

You're right.  Despite my reluctance, I downloaded the AirEditor on Simviation and found under Primary Aerodynamics: Drag Coefficient, Landing Gear*2048 =

I tweaked this value and got my performance exactly to the "book", so this is good.
