I downloaded the Gmax source files for a F-22 Raptor, and when I play the animation, all the animations play at once. :-?
I would like to learn how to animate my planes (when I start making them), can anyone tell me how?

All the animations are supposed to play at once.

Read the tutorials that come with GMAX, and the MakeMDL SDK; you should then be well on your way.

Oi!  Check the thread at the top of this forum titled "Aircraft & 3D Design FAQs".  In there will be a set of links for everything you need to get started with designing.  In particular, check out the "Stupid Idiot's Guide to Gmax", since it has several sections about animating the various parts of an aircraft.

Honestly, when are folks gonna start using the resources that are RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM? ::)

First - you have to install the gmax help and tutorial files, then WITHIN the help and tutotial files  will be explanations on gmax animations.

THEN, once you are familiar with making an animated part in gmax, you can check the SDK on how to associate the animated part in gmax with an FS-X animation tag, using the animation manager....

You DID install the FS SDKs,also, right?

I have the SDKs installed, and I am familiar with creating animations.
I just want to know how to associate the animated part in gmax with an FS-X animation tag, using the animation manager.
