Hi

I just installed gmax but when i open it and click on the 'tutorials' nothing happens.

Can't figure out why! Any help?

I have FSX Deluxe with Acceleration package.

ok, don't worry, i got it figured out.

the turbosquid forum said to download/unzip it 'from the same place you downloaded gmax' from, which was not possible as gmax was installed with my FSX SDK stuff (so no download!), but i found one could download it from www.turbosquid.com/gmax instead.

either i missed something, or it's just plain weird how they'd include gmax with FSX Deluxe without reference to where to get the help/tutorial stuff from, not even a link.

You missed something -- When you installed the FS-X SDK from the disc/dvd, the install process also copied gmax, the tutorials and the help files in a folder in the SDK, along with the converter plugin.



 The problem with the RTM FS-X SDK was that at the time of release, Microsoft did not have the rights to release the gmax scripts, so in essence, the only ones who could use the SDK tools were MAX users - until SDK SP1 came out..  :)
