FSX SU-47 FINISHED!!!!!

Postby ShaneG_old » Sun Aug 24, 2008 3:13 pm

[smiley=bigsmile.gif] Finally got all the little bugs worked out of this puppy and then added a few goodies!! Functioning VC, sonic boom, pushback/taxi gauge, added carrier capability, updated: gps, radio, AP, afterburner is controled by the throttle now!(this took forever to get figured out! ;)) realigned the smokes and afterburner.
BIG THANX goes to Boikat & Felix/FFDS for their help and advice on my first conversion project. This might be a small project to some people, but after spending a few days of tearing through .cfg files, I have a much larger appreciation for the people that design and create these amazing addons! :o

I took my hat , and one of the most important is that you have sucsessfully did what many and even experimented designers can't ,to export the model to mdl , FSX, mdl  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I think this is an existing FS9 model converted to work in FSX.

Nice work socialgarbage. If you intend uploading it please take note of what Felix told you. ;)

As soon as I get the blessings for some gauges that I used and permission from alpha sim, I will be uploading! I know this point has been brought up already, but after recieving said blessings, would it be better to upload the whole package or just the update? :-? ;)

Thanx for the responses! :)

It would be a lot easier to upload the complete package but I would take note of what Felix says. He has a lot of experience in these matters. You might not get a response from Alphasim but permission to modify their freeware files seems to be implied providing you respect the simple conditions in the Readme.

All my permissions have been granted, and I just finished my first upload to SimV! After all the years I've spent taking from this site, I finally get to give something back! ;D

Thanks to everyone in this hobby for giving me the knowledge and resources to do this stuff, and a HUGE THANX to Pete for providing the great site to meet them all at!

edit:sounds like a damn grammy speech don't it! ;)

Give it a spin and let me know if I botched anything up so I can fix it up!
