Hi,
I've been told that it is possible to merge Virtual Cockpits into planes without VCs in FSX. Can anyone help me do this? Thanks.

That's a qualified "Yes" .

If the model was NOT made with the FS-X SDK tools, then a no-VC model will not have a VC., even if you correctly write up the the model.cfg file (just open up one of the model.cfg for the default FS-X aircraft.

NOW, having said that, there are some modllers that have a way to discourage VC swapping - if you do not use their VC, then nothing (or a warning sign) appears.

as Felix wrotte they have to be original FSX compilation (like default models) ,you can't not use any of the recently models made by independent designers and add to another plane ,WELL YOU CAN ;D what you can't is redistribute these mixes...some are already protect it, against it..like some b707 hanging on there made by a couple nuts  ::)

see the most difficult part to any designer is not the exterior ,Is the VC ,the VC is quite difficult to make ,and we wouldn't want our work to be in another airplane ..get it? ;)

Well, it sort of depends on what you want to merge....For instance, you can merge the default 737VC with the Posky 737 becuase they have updated models. But, besides the default....I would let VC's remain with their original plane as Alrot said.
