The Revelator
sorry about the delay in a reply to you i have been busy working away on the model so please forgive me for my rudeness yes it is for FSX tho i would have like to have had it for fs9 as well but the model to detailed for fs9 . beening a meneber of UKMIL  i have the acess to the gaffer whos the boss he work's on these bird's so knows them inside out he has been very helpfull with informing me and testing the bird were mistake have been made and then i have had to corect them once there pointed out at present i am still working on the cockpit which will be switchable  i have made all the versions of it so far just swapping between the airframes to do everything on them , at the moment the front panel pilots main panel is done and the rear nav's panel is all so done hopefully she should be ready around the newyear that's if real life does not get in the way

Dang man, nice work on the exterior.  It looks amazing!  I like the bolts and 'mirror' in the interior, though I hope you are going to do a lot of work on the toggle switches and guages. Otherwise, I may even be able to go as far as to say that you have surpassed DSB's Tornado (exterior) model already  ;D

i would have liked to have it for fs9 but the exterior mdl is over 5.5megs as it is at it's present state the interior in the prexiew are low res test textures at the moment i have not taken any of the high res yet so not to give to much away as some esle is planing to release a tornado before mine is ready to release (no names mentioned eithier ) just to tease you all i have started work on the Grumman F-14A Tomcat i ahev done some of the airframe but not much i ahve made the engine nozzle area tho that work correctly as the like the real ones not the f14 d nozzles eithier these have more shape to them been working on the cockpit mainly done the left side panel (pilots) real joystick 3d not a map eithier part of the main wings as well just few things left on that part to do front gear is made rear gear still to be made ,this project for USMIL for general release with texture packs as well mian one i have made for my self are the jolly rogers VA84 uss nimitz 202 from the film the final coutdown as i think thats the best flimed flying of the tomcats show's how well they handle at slow speed as well as fast better than topgun  (but each to there own ) on that she will be a while as finding it hard to get good quilty pictures of the panel layouts so i can label every switch and knob .

well that it for now

Nice, just please have a better VC on the F-14 than the one that's out now.  You do plan on making a detailed VC on both craft I'm hoping?  I hope they don't have a huge impact on FPS, the pics look so good.

testing has gone good with them depending on what add on's you have installed in FSX that does affect FSX frame rate with no add ons installed i can say that the frame rate been around the 25-30 mark with the tornado guessing it should be the same for the cat  i have been testing with raf coninsby package that ukmil made now thats a heavy frame rate kill but it is still very enjoyable to use even with a full AI  package running it which is around 30 aircraft the coninsby package dropped the frame rate to around 9-10 frame's which does sound bad even for fsx but you try the mission in japan and look at the frame rate on that mission i have a pretty good rig to use fsx but even i was getting 1 frame a sec at one stage but that was with eveything turned on mind you

with the auto gen turned to about 50% i can say the frame rate still good at coninsby as well around 15-20 frame's depending on whats was in view at the time exterior view and seeing all of coninsby dropped to around 9-10 frames/sec with AI'S we will all have to wait and see what happens in the update later on this year for FSX  to see the full potential of FSX with the updated drivers as well

since my last post about this model i have been working on just an update for those who may have forgotten about it well been busy working away in the interior i cant belive that its been so long since i posted about working on it i have been working on other things as well taking a break as of the heavy work load in building the vc well the front pilots position is done just a few bits to do nothing that will take to long the nav position is the same so there will be 2 points you can fly from eithier the front seat or the back or even share the pit in muitlplayer mode for fsx acell learnt more things about fsx acell bump map systems that caused loads of head aches for me lol i'll stick up a few screen shots of the vc so you can all have a look at it over the next few weeks as changing my isp so not sure how long that will take
the exterior model all done now and the different version of the main airframe ie gr1 f2 f3 gr4 gr1 with load outs as well few more effects to be added yet till i happy then its beta testing over at ukmil to find any problems then finally a release for her i would like to thank all the guys who have answered all of my posts in the past to some silly questions that i should have been able to solve my self (silly sod as i am ) you can catch a look at the nav position so just about see the first vc layout to give you all an idea of whats coming
