You may not be able to port directly to FSDS, but I don't know much about the program.
What I would do instead is search the internet for converter programs for what Blender can export to (a whole lot of formats) and what FSDS is actually able to import.
Start by typing something into your favorite search engine such as "x file converter" or "*.x to _______" and replace the blank with whatever FSDS can import easily.
Be aware that most times, importing this way can result in a fair amount of transition noise, meaning inverted polys and parts rotated incorrectly. I have found that converting something that doesn't readily import to your program leads you to harder problems than just recreating the whole project from scratch yourself.

ANswered in the FFDS forum, but the gist is:
COnvert the x file to an *.lwo file and then use the CVA converter to import it as an fsc into FSDS.
