While not the newest thing, (they stopped using it) the lower ore dock at Marquette has been reborn,

I'd guess that all the ore gets funneled through Escanaba these days..

I have a fond memory of that dock from the 1980s..

actually there is a "newer" dock just north of it in Presque Isle built in 1911... newer

Sounds good for the upload. Id like to see that pic sounds beautiful. Many nice memorys of light houses engulfed in ice and huge ice sicles.
