Hey all. Im nearing the end on the Dash 8 100 for 2004. Finally got the FS9 export. Problem now is Id like to be able to start it manually but it is not working. I checked the starting procedure no help. I have condition levers fuel pump switches and prop levers on and am using lear jet starter switches. Anything im missing.
Procedure=
Prop levers 100%
fuel pump on
Conition levers 40% on wind up.

try watching what the computer does when you hit ctrl+E and then you will see what you are forgetting to do. i sounds like all the switches are there.

FS9 default starter switches has a bug. You'll need to keep clicking on them until the engine starts to keep the ignition active. Had the same problem with the King Air, too. In short, click on the switch, and then click on it once a second or so until the engine starts (you need to have the condition lever open for that engine, of course).  Don't let the switch to return to "off" position before the engine is running.

it worked fine for me, max the prop and condition levers and hold the start switch until it runs up to power. leave the throttle at about 15%

is that the final panel for that plane?

it seems lik the viewpoint is a little low, kinda like you are seeing too much panel and not enough window. maybe remove the bottom(below the ap) and resize the windows. it is like you are trying to make a 3d panel out of a 2d bmp

Yes I know what you are saying. It does have that IFR panel feeling to it and it is hard to see. I will edit it so there is more window. The 2D panel is realy only suppose to be utilitarian tried to design this one so that it would encourage VC use. How is it running on your machine in the VC as far as FPS?
