cfg tweaks

Postby Mr.Mike » Mon Jul 23, 2007 4:24 pm

I want to alter they way an aircraft handles and its speed.  I know this can be done in the cfg file.

first off, its a helicopter.  I want to get a little more speed out of it, I cant break 120 knots even in a straight down dive.  The heli is supposed to cruise at 140 and top out at 160.

second thing is changing the rate of roll and pitch.  for what it is it handles very sluggishly.  The MD500 is known for being over powered and rather snappy, how ever this one is not.  I want to bring things more true to life.

I can paste parts of the cfg here to help you help me if needed ;)

Thanks
mike

You can either use FSEdit by Microsoft, but I don't know if it works with helis, and it likes giving you many errors....
there are also lots of other progs for it, but I don
