New to FSDS3 & questions

It seems FSDS V3 has a few tricks I have yet to learn, compared to V2.  I've been spoiled with the way in which the earlier version generated a model and am just getting the hang of the proper way to compile using makemodel. Most disturbing, here is an image of how the end result turns out - the top pic is in FSDS3, the bottom pic is how the wings should look (generated by FSDS2). It looks like this might be caused by the weld feature (just a guess) in the compliation process, however I have not found a way to uncheck the weld, or any other options, while compiling with makemodel. Wondering if there is something obvious I may be missing. I'll likely have a few other questions along the way!

To get to the makemld.exe dialog directly, rename
MakeMdlAircraftParms.txt
and
MakeMdlSceneryParms.txt

to something like:
X_MakeMdlAircraftParms.txt
and
X_MakeMdlSceneryParms.txt

Thanks - now compiling is simpler, due to this suggestion.  Still having problems with the welding though (don't want anything to do with it!) - seems I cannot uncheck this option in makemodel and keep the setting accordingly.

I believe that no matter what you do with makemdl.exe options, internally there is a 4mm "limit" that will automatically weld any points that are within the tolerance.
