Postby Felix/FFDS » Thu Oct 19, 2006 8:52 pm

Possibly as early as next week, including all gmax tools, sample airplane, and other goodies.

Nice to know.

I was just installing the SDK on another computer because my first one had to get cleaned out and now the second one is having issues starting up the ACE application which is used to create xml gauges. I hope the update fixes this.

PS: Yes, I installed the Netframe version 2.0.

The SDK ships with the Deluxe version of FS-X.

I would expect that the SDKs may be available for download, once the updates are released (Unless only the SDK updates are placed for release.)

gmax 1.2 is inlcuded in the SDKs.

Thank You !

I red here about the 3dsmax 7 plugins included in the FSX Beta Version

http://wing-fell-off.blogspot.com/2006/ ... eta-3.html

Are those included in the SDK (Deluxe Version) as well ?

Yes - the SDKs as released are "reasonably" complete model making tools.  For actual FS-X objects, *right now* you need 3DSMax 7 or 8 (9 doesn't work).

I"ve heard some people complaining about that but, considering I can't afford it, I don't even look for it.
