well i cant export it into an "x" type file, only a scene, and for the CFG, i already made a new .air file and CFG for it. ::)

ui_manufacturer=North American

I assume that your working with Gmax,Im trying to help you Falcon500 maybe you haven't add a requirement( I don't know how much you know or Ignore ,Perhaps you already knbow this) but just in case if you don't add this software to your  already Gmax instalation,you wont be able to export Direccly from Gmax to MDL (Not *.X)unless you are working with 3d studio max,
You must download the "gMax Gamepack SDK" right here

http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsi ... ds_sdk.asp

Install it...

then Set gmax in meters ,I will say again in preferences ,set it to meter unit, then you export will as an aircraft ,Maybe you know all this am not a magician,I just want to help you ,ask specific what you need to know and It would be easier for me to help me ,to help you

Alright, i downloaded the sdk and set it up, i went into gmax and set the units back to metric, i exported as an aircraft, set up the aircraft file, went into FS9 opened my aircraft and the b-25 is roughly two miles long and 2.5 miles wide ???

explain that one  ::)

Just converting the units in Gmax isn't going to change the actual size of the aircraft.

In Gmax, create a new scene.

Set it up as you had done with the last one, except now you have the units set up correctly.  However you usually get a background image to work with, get that in there.

Create a block (if you haven't already) the dimensions of the aircraft.

Merge your B-25 into this scene.  Now group all the B-25 objects (NOT the block you just made) together and reset the gizmo center to 0,0,0.

Now use the "Select and Uniform Scale" tool, next to the "Select and Rotate" tool, to shrink the new group until it fits inside the block.

Delete the block, save your work and you're ready to export!

You right Locke ,I don't need this,Your advises always will be better than everyone else,This doesn't worth it you must be a teacher ,and I rather to make planes...At least Im in a very different possition around the web,to see my name as a desigher from being the teacher or compite for that( say what you want your opinion doesn't count to me)

Clear the aisles, everyone!  There's a GIANT HEAD coming through!

Mister, I don't see anyone acting childish around here, other than you.  I didn't suggest he ignore anyone's advice, I just gave my point of view.  If you think there's a better way, that's your opinion.

If you want to get snippy and hurt over something, I would suggest you get snippy and hurt over something IMPORTANT.

I told you...CORRECTION: I kwew it

I had post it,but I delete it,Again... the right way & easy: Select all\ right click of the mouse\scale move the mouse until this planes covers in Meters ( set units in meters) about two or 3 quares(grids) of Gmax the smallest ones, that's about the size,..Export it put in the runway & calculate the size little bigger little smaller ,export the mdl as many posible until you reach the right size & position above the floor
