Hey im wondering, where in the .cfg file can i edit the effectiveness of the spoilers?

I recently downloaded the F-14 recently released here on SimV and i think the spoiler on it is waaay too effective.

I mean, it slows you from 756kts to 32kts in just a few seconds.

This is aggrivating when coming in to land and I deploy the spoiler and BANG! i hit the ground because i stalled because the spoiler took WAY too much  air speed.

Thanks,

The spoilers are that way to land on carriers.

Been while since I've modded around with that stuff... but There should be a script saying "spoiler_effectiveness" or something simular in the aircraft config, lower the given number to a lower value, to decrease deceleration.  8)

The value your looking for is in the Air file under Flight Dynamics spoiler drag. Decrease this number to decrease the ammount of the effectiveness of the spoilers. You can open the Air File with an Air File editor such as Air ED wich is the freeware program I use. I think you can dowload it here at Simviation or you could just search AirEd.
