3d max question?
I just about to finish the interior VC(mapping)There's is a bug,see I don't have pilots;how difficult is to make a human boddy,I have Poser 5 and IT export into *.3d exelent 3d human figures, even it can dress them as a pilot,It imports correctly, but  after I export to *.X then to Makemdlfs9,it says "vertices withing triangle" and at the ent of the txt says Units /meter,even with the lower resolution,Makemdl fs9 says so,Even all the thing of 3d max's library(3d objects)   says the same thing,is there's a way to fix this??

and Why the model don't bright with the sun(reflexion)I name the map, fuselage_T, i convert it in alpha Dtx3,did I miss something??

First, the pilot stuff:

I have been on the search for a good pilot for awhile.  I'm no good at modelling people for FS, so I've been searching the net for one.  I found the best version to be the one included in the model of the M-1000 Mule by Ken Cozine.  The only place I could find it a minute ago was flightsim.com (nonodes).  It includes a Gmax file of the whole aircraft, which contains two pilots that are very well modelled.

You'll have to ask the author about using them, but they're there if you need them.

Also, if you're willing to spend some money ($5 or so), there are some interesting models over at Turbosquid.com.

Yep.  That's why folks call it "NoNodes". ::)

I just suggest you try four or five times in a row, or at a different time of day.  I usually am able to get in if I keep at it long enough.

Curiously, I am still unable to find it on the net anywhere else, even after a detailed search.  I would have guessed this aircraft would be available at multiple sites, as are nearly every other aircraft, but it seems NoNodes obtained it and no one else.

But here's the author's email address, if you want to try contacting him to get a copy of that pilot:

HapaHauli@comcast.net

The pilot will need a fair amount of editing, as it is designed specifically to fit in the seat it sits in, as well as grip the controls of that particular aircraft.  But if you tinker with it, its bound to work out.  I've been working on it for a bit and have reduced the poly count considerably.
