Flight testing before retexture.                                         S600X-2 with lights strobes and beacons not shown.                                                                              New tires using only gmax materials. Realized that was the best way. Saves generating tire texture and more detail.                                                                                Interior model with tinted VC windows for those sunny days and better traffic ident at night also cuts down on the glare experienced from taxi lights at night. Panel view is untinted.              Image

. . . and he's off! ;D

Well done, Cos.  I'm glad you've gotten the bugs worked out; looks like she's coming along very nicely . . . ;)

Thanks guys. Working on the cargobay and I finaly got my front cargo doors to open. Probably put some lights in the cargobay as taxi lights. 8) For some interior lighting. I put windows in the flightdeck partition so you can look back and check on what your hauling ;D and watch the rear cargo door open. Next up thrust reversers, retexture, animation, and VC modeling. WOOOO thats alot left to do. ;)

For some interior lighting.

That would be nice, but the taxi lights won't show on the aircraft itself.  I'm thinking that's an FSX thing (ie: shadows cast BY the aircraft ON the aircraft) but right now it isn't feasible.  Doing that will only result in the lights shining "through" the aircraft onto the tarmac underneath.

You can use the effects files to cast some light on the interior. Just make sure to link the effects file to the addon's aircraft.cfg file under the effects section.

EDIT: Uhh... never mind. I got that confused. You can edit the location and type of light effect in the aircraft.cfg file under the effects section. ::)

Thanks guys. I thought that would happen but I had to try. I'll have to look in to the effects file edit. I've done a liitle cfg editting so I should be able to figure it out. What do you think about using a LIGHT_LOGO is'nt that particular effect made to reflect off aircraft parts?
