HELP IMPORTING FILES....

hi all...i've been bored so i got my hands on a max female figure...im planning on using her as pilot on my projects (ive recieved complaints that my current pilot looks as thoughhe had run into a wall :P ) hahaha my q is... is there any one who can get her into dxf format so i can import her into FSDS?

Be careful on the model you get.  Most humanoid meshes made with Poser, 3DSMAx, etc are polygon explosions.

3dsmax has native AutoCad export/import functions (DWG, DXF).
Just hit the export button and select dxf from the format list.

If you are using Gmax you can go one of two ways.
Either export to FS model using makemdl, mdlcommander and middleman, save the x-file.
Load the x-file into either Lithunwrap or Deep Exploration or a similar converter and save to dxf.
Second method, export to Tempest md3 using the Tempest gamepack and load this one into either one of the above mentioned converters.

What format is the mesh you want to import into FSDS?

Remember the CVA converter can handle several input formats, not just dxf...

it's *.3ds but i was looking for my cva plug in and apparently i lost it...and cant find it on the internet. (a recent version) :(

I do believe the most recent version is 1.0, unless the website itself is behind . . . ???
