New WIP : A-36 Halcon

Postby 5thranger » Fri Mar 24, 2006 2:14 am

My next project, a Chilean Air Force attack version of the T-36, which in turn is a modernized version of the C-101.

More shots as I move the process along, thanks to Milton and all others who helped me finish my first project, the T-35 Pillan.

Looks pretty accurate!

Though i think there is a little modeling error at the tail, cant say so though, might be the lightning.

It looks like the engines have a sharper definition from the hull in the photos, again the lightning would be my gues :).

Now get a cockpit window on there :D.

Oh, i assume the wheels arent finishd yet?

Por fin un buen c101   :o  :o it is just a beautiful plane if do you need something just let me know.

I finally get the FSDS 3 so if i can help you in something just let me know, or let us know 'cause belalcazar was my professor  ;)

Finally you're designing in gmax or fsds??? if you use fsds maybe we can make some latin planes like the mirage.

Saludos

Here's another progress shot to show the finished exterior of the plane, and some shots of the MK82 Snakeye that this plane carries in its Close Support role, later I'll send some of the weapon bays complete with some Shafrir 2 AA missiles.

cheers

Here're more shots, the model is 95% ready, some minor details, now I need to test the animations, prepare my textures, panel, air cfg. etc. and it's done.

Greetings

Which modeling program are you using? It sorta looks like 3Ds Max.

Yeah, I use a lot of programs, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3dS Max, GMAX, etc.

I even bought FSDS 3, but the program is too cumbersome and not user friendly to be productive using it.

I simply export into GMAX, finish up and export to MDL
