Backgrounds like to zoom in

Postby Madcat » Mon Feb 27, 2006 12:18 pm

I am using Gmax and when I save my work things are good. Then I pick it back up and I get....

Image (if this is too large please let me know, I have tried 3 times to resize it, thx)

The background wants to meet me I guess. I change it to another background and it looks right, then god back to the one I need and it is zoomed.

any ideas??

Yes - forget about the P-38 tutorial, for starters, the viewport image method is practically useless... and the setup is reversed...

use The Stupid Idiot's Guide to Making an Airplane with Gmax

That's presuming you've gone through the default gmax tutorials (except the P-38) to get you the feel of the program.

I would do...., if I'm thinking differentlly then what you want done excuse me, but if your haveing a problem with zooming on ur 3view without getting out of scale to your project then, just simply check the box "Lock Zoom/Pan".. Under View point properties. ;)

SkyNoz is right.  If you notice, in the image you posted, there is a window that you have pulled up called "Viewpoint Properties".  In that window, about halfway down, is a checkbox titled "Lock Zoom/Pan".  Make sure you check this box, THEN save.  That should fix the problem.
