heck - even *I* knew that!  (and me knowing something in gmax is incredible in itself!)

That's one of those "obvious" tidbits in modelling that's makes a lot of stuff  easier..

I knew that too...since my early works in 3dmax :P
But if I understand..how can a modeler make a Rudder perfect animation without use this option ??? ::)

By always making sure the part they are rotating moves around the XYZ set of axes.  Can do that by just being very careful what you are doing in the beginning.
