I have a 727-200 without an autothrottle, but it does have a switch in the cockpit. I was just wondering if it is as easy as changing the cfg file, if it is I would appreciate it if someone could give me the line to copy/paste into the aircraft cfg.

Thanks,

Not that I know too much about this, but checking the default B737-400 aircraft.cfg file, it has this in the [autopilot] section:
[autopilot]
autopilot_available=1
flight_director_available=1
default_vertical_speed=1800
autothrottle_available=1
autothrottle_arming_required=1
autothrottle_max_rpm = 90
autothrottle_takeoff_ga=1
I"d suggest you try it?
