Need Some Design Help

Postby Travis » Wed Feb 01, 2006 5:36 pm

I've had a project in the works for something like two and a half years, and I would really like to finish it.  The only problem is the interior designing.  I have everything I want on the exterior, and a few things in the cockpit, but mostly its just the gauge panels and stuff.  I need someone who has designed a cockpit for a twin jet before and would be willing to put some time and effort into it.  I have all the source files in *.max format, so no FSDS-heads, please! ;)

If more info is needed, I can provide screenies and such.

If anyone is interested, just email or PM me.

Hi Locke

Sorry' but I cannot help you with your problem' but I'm working in FSDv3, and your remark about designers working in FSDS' is unrequiered, and not the sort of thing one would expect from a fellow designer. Perhaps starting a new thread with a better attitude to fellow designer would be the way too go for you. After all we all work together in these forums' for the betterment of each other

Cheers

Curlyo - no need to get all flustered with Locke in this case.....  after all, you can't blame the frustration those on the Dark Side have for us brilliant Luddites..  :)

*I* at least, took no offense on his use of "FSDS-heads"  (Locke:  The correct term is "Luddites"), especially if the project is in max/gmax.

point taken Felix. I just don't disciminate thats all. Howerver The learning that I have done in FSDv3 that I have only had on the Pc for just over a week. Along with your tutorial The idiots guide too GMAX. Has enabled me too work in both programs.  FSDv3, and GMAX. However one might say that perhaps I had the axis's the wrong way around :-) Enough said. Thanks Felix.

Cheers

Okay, hold on a mo!  No need to get mad about a simple comment.  I didn't mean anything by the phrase; I just meant I can't do any converting or anything, so no FSDS-ers (yon Luddites!) could help.  I wasn't being sarcastic or snobbish, just giving all the info needed.

Thanks for the "warm" response . . . ::)
