Converting aircraft to 3ds files

Are there any programs out there that can convert an aircraft into a 3ds file (3d model) for use by another program?

If you're talking about converting a compiled (*.mdl) file, no, there isn't.

USe the Quake exporter, export as a Quake model, then use Deep Exploration or some other  conversion program  ....

uh oh .. import from .3ds *directly* !!!

(eyes several CD's with 50 some-odd airplane .3ds files)

I am goin to be busy ALL SUMMER!!!
(waves good-bye to spare time)

Wouldn't it be cool to see *all* the plane types from AW in MSFS?
