How is the ejection sequence for a tandem aircraft, 1 the forward and later the rearward?? i know that is a silly question :-[

Finaly i want to know if someone can help me with the FD

Depends on the seats i think.. but im pretty sure its normally the back seat that ejects first followed by the front after a very small time..

Hi
Yep back seat first then the front, reason for that is the front seat is protected from the seat blast by the back of his seat,Otherwise the rear seater would get a face full :)
cheers

The command eject in the Tucano fires the rear seat first followed by the front seat 1.4 seconds later.

If the aircraft is flown solo, the rear seat does not leave the aircraft.

The canopy frame also stays attached to the aircraft - the seats fire through the canopy glass which is shattered by the detonating chord in the canopy.

Ahh rite, i thought they were just for decoration.. lol.. just incase it didnt shatter the canopy correctly..

The "knives" are there to break through the shattered canopy (and to poke out the pilot's eye whilst checking the seat before flight!).

Aint that what the tennis balls are for??  ;)
