Modify for high altitude

Postby Weekend_Flyer » Tue Apr 26, 2005 8:49 pm

Wondering if someone could tell me how to modify a plane for FS9 to fly at really high altitudes. I read somewhere it can be done, cant remember where!

Thanks

You'd need to edit the aircraft.cfg and .air files to make a new maximum altitude, pretty easy.
You'll need to download AirEdit from our tools download section to edit the .air file, and notepad can do the .cfg file ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Also, you'd need to make sure that the lift characterisitics of the flight dynamics will get you up that far without stalling!
