Make MDL Export Problem....

Ok.....the problem is that when I go to export my flie useing MakeMDL, i keep getting this weird error....it reads as follows:

Sorting by Material...
Generate BGL...
Done!
Assembling: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\TiltFan\model\TFH5VC.azm
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\TiltFan\model\XV-15_0.asm(13194) : error A2005: symbol redefinition : XV_15_anim_196612_end
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\TiltFan\model\XV-15_0.asm(13224) : error A2005: symbol redefinition : XV_15_anim_0_end
Error!

I tried some fooling around with the model and I kept getting the same error....so i started checking and unchecking boxes in the MakeMDL options menu.....well to make a long story short, when I check the "No Animations" box...the file will export properly.

It is just an educated guess...but I would say that the error is comeing from some sort of animation conflict....but the thing is there is no animation on the parts that I am trying to export. I don't really expect that any of this makes a whole lot of sense to you...cause it dosent to me but any help would be appriciated!

I wouldnt mind so muc if the whole model didn't have animation...but there is a lot....so this is a huge problem....if you need more information...just let me know!

Thanks in Advance!

Alan

see if your animations are using linear transitions...

gmax is set by default to use bezier transitions, so you have to change them to linear...

select an animated part and go to the

Alan,

I have seen this problem arise when parts have names for key framed animations and there are none. Like naming a part l_spoiler (l_spoiler is a symbol to makemdl.exe) and then it is not keyframe animated. Also, if you have a part that has keyframes and is not named properly, l-spoiler. So what I am saying here is to double check your part names and besure they all conform to the SDK. A simple thing like a typo can cause some frustrations.
