What program was it made with?  If it was made with FSDS1 or AF99 (FS2002 was backward compatible with the earlier model formats) then you will have some problems with the animations, etc.

Specifically, WHAT does the dialog box say?

I suspect you are not talking about redesigning this in a FS2004 compatible design program -- simply that you want to fly this chopper in FS2004.

Most likely this was designed with a program called FSDS v1. All aircraft designed in this program will have 'non compatible' features - mainly that props & rotor blades, in the case of helicopters,  don't show up visually in the sim, & wheels don't show ...

You have a simple choice: You can click no when asked about 'disabling non compatible features' (or whatever) .. sometimes this renders the machine quite OK in FS2004 - but in my experience helicopter blades won't appear in early FSDS designs  ....

or ..

You can go & find a similar bird that WILL work in FS2004 -   so what's the machine? There is probably a simple answer your request  .... :)
