I downloaded GMAX, started it up, and typed in the reg key. I was expecting it to load GMAX, but instead it did this:

Swift response would be appreciated, cos i'm designing a game and I cant afford to lose much time...

Thanks in advance,

On the picture - All you needed to do was to crop the important part, not necessarily resize.

(Note - I did the cropping and uploading - 2 minutes total)

Probably some setting in your video setup changed.

Do a START->RUN then type in COMMAND in the box.

in the command line screen (or DOS screen); type in

C:\gmax\gmax.exe -h

then in Customize-> Preferences, either reset your video driver options, or use the heidi (software) driver.

Ahhh!
I could kiss you! (although I wont because you would probably sue me  :))
Sorry for being so un-informative, but i was almost pulling teeth. I'm trying to write a 1st-person shooter about the sniper-dual between Vassili Zaitsev and Major Keonig in Stalingrad, and I'm animating everything in GMAX because I cant figure out animations in FSDS. I'm trying to get the 1st level of the game ready for demos by easter (probably wont happen) and so I panicked. Thanks for the advice, it's working good now!

What game engine are you using (out of curiosity)?

I'm designing one in M$ Visual Studio.NET

Thing is, if I didnt have to spend so many hours sitting in boring  :( school lessons every day, I would probably be selling the game now! (BTW, I HATE  :o school)
